It’s a Knockout corporate event near London for Bink at Amber Lakes, Old Windsor The Client Bink, established in 2014, aims to provide a simple yet effective solution to consumers within the loyalty market having developed and launched an app which allows users to create an account and scan in all of their loyalty cards. This means the user can shop online and instantly collect points and rewards from all eligible brands hassle-free and eliminates the need to carry endless amounts of cards! The Brief Based in Ascot, Berkshire, Bink were recommended to Gable Events as the preferred event supplier to the beautiful Amber Lakes. The client contacted us looking for some inspiration for team building activities for approximately 50 delegates to last around two hours that we knew would work well in the fantastic outdoor setting provided by Amber Lakes. Proposals for dragon boat racing, krypton maze and a treasure hunt were put forward to match the client’s brief with the it’s a knockout corporate event eventually selected as a high energy, all-action event well suited to the young team at Bink. The venue’s location in Old Windsor within easy reach of Central London makes it an unbeatable space for corporate events including It’s a Knockouts. The Event Following a meeting and delicious lunch in Amber Lakes luxurious Scandinavian style lodge, the 40 delegates arrived at the it’s a knockout arena created in one of the venue’s ample grass spaces filled with excitement. Following a briefing, Gable Events staff led a walk around each game to demonstrate the rules and how to properly use the equipment with health and safety paramount. Before the games got underway, Gable Events event manager introduced a mass aerobics warm-up routine which never fails to get groups energised and in the mood for the fun activities to follow! The six team captains showed the rest of the team their best moves to copy resulting in much hilarity and the ‘Giant Python’ team declared the winners for their limitless enthusiasm! The seven It’s a Knockout games were played one at a time with teams competing head to head before rotating to the next. The level of competition grew throughout the event as teams battled it out to win as many points as possible culminating in the wet and foamy Giant Tubes finale. Each team was tasked with transporting a giant skittle through the suds as many times as possible in the time limit with beaming smiles the testament to the fun that was had!
